FAST is an association registered in The Netherlands with volunteers from all over the world on a short or long term basis.

We strongly believe in the basic human right to being treated with dignity and respect and apply this basic human right in our day-to-day efforts when helping and assisting people forced from their homes by violence, persecution, and poverty.

FAST started in 2015 as a group of friends providing first aid in the so called ‘Jungle’ in Calais. From old caravans where we treated more than 50 people a day we moved to a travelling team assisting displaced people in different areas in Calais and Dunkirk.
Since 2019 we have become a registered association with active members who advise our coordinators and the ground team and/or travel to the north of France to provide first aid

We believe that everyone should have access to first aid, whatever their status, religion or other background they may have.

Many suffer from injuries that can easily be taken care of, such as sores, scratches and blemishes. Other suffer from skin diseases, infections or flu. We believe that the services to treat these conditions and for emergency first aid are lacking at the moment and we do everything we can to fill that gap.
